This Week in Physics (March 22-26)

 In Physics

Dear Parents and students,

Your students will be studying electricity this week.  They will have the opportunity to create their own battery. The battery must be powerful enough to power a device of some sort.  I am always impressed with their inventions!

Here is our class schedule for the week:

Monday
Unit 15 Individual Test

Tuesday
Notes and Practice: 16.1  Voltage
Workbook 16.1

Wednesday
AZSCI

Thursday
Notes and Practice: 16.2  Current
Workbook 16.2

Friday
Notes and Practice:  Chemical and Solar Cells

Research how to create a battery using fruit or objects you have around the house.  Create a blueprint.  Your battery must power something.   Bring in these objects (Monday) and build your battery in class. If you are home based, make a video of you testing your battery.

Instructional videos for each day are found in your CK-12 reading.
All Practices must be completed with at least 80% mastery to be accepted.
