This Week in Physics (Feb 28 – March 4)

 In Physics

Dear Parents and students,

This week the students will be learning about reflection and refraction of light. Light reacts in very peculiar ways depending on the situation.  Students will have several labs to demonstrate these concepts.

Here is our class schedule for this week:

Monday
14.1 Reflection
Notes and Practice: 14.2 Refraction
Workbook 20.1

Tuesday
Notes and Practice: 14.3 Total Internal Reflection
14.4 Plane Mirrors
Mirror Lab Part #1 (attached)
Use these virtual simulators instead of real mirrors:

Law of Reflection

Convex Mirror & Concave Mirror
