This week in Physics Feb. 17-21

 In Physics

Dear Parents,

Light is an amazing phenomena appearing as both a particle and a wave.  This week we explored light reflection and refraction. Your students had fun experimenting with prisms and mirrors.  There are only a few weeks left before Spring Break.  It is common for upper classmen (especially seniors) to lose attention at this point.  My goal is to help your students finish strong this quarter.

Here is our class schedule for the next week:

Monday
No SCHOOL

Tuesday
ILP’s

Wednesday
14.5  Concave Mirrors
14.6  Convex Mirrors
Workbook 20.2

Thursday
Mirror lab

Friday
14.7  Double Convex Lenses
14.8  Double Concave Lenses
Workbook 20.3

ONLINE Textbook and practice:

Just as a reminder, students cannot make up labs if they are absent, but they can take detailed notes and complete the practice sets for full credit. I would love to hear any feedback or questions you or your student may have as we move forward in the year.  Feel free to contact me via email at any time.

Thank you again for sharing your wonderful student with us this year,
