This Week in Physics Aug 16-20
Dear Parents and students,
The first semester of this class is full of hands-on labs. This week the students had the opportunity to play with cars and have a lot of fun calculating velocity and average velocity. It only gets more exciting from here! For those who love adventure their hearts are full!
Here is our class schedule for next week:
Notes and Practice: 2.4 Average Acceleration
Group Project: Acceleration Lab
Notes and Practice: 2.5 Uniform Acceleration
Group Project: Constant Acceleration Lab
CONTINUE Constant Acceleration Lab
Read: 2.6 & 2.7
Notes and Practice: 2.7 Acceleration Due to Gravity
Lab: Acceleration due to Gravity Lab
IMPORTANT FORMULAS:
A=Average velocity
d=distance
t=time
A=2(d/t)
g= acceleration due to gravity
