This week in Physics 3/2-3/6

 In Physics

Dear Parents,

This is the last week of the quarter!  Spring Break is just a week away.  But before the students go we have to make sure they have a bad hair day.  So now is the time to break out the Van de graaf generator!  Static electricity is a lot of fun.  Last week the students made a real holograph machine.  This week they will be shocked by several thousand volts of electricity!  Such memories!

Here is our class schedule for the next week:

Monday
15.1  Electric Charge and Electric Force
15.2  Electric Fields
Static Electricity Van de graaff Generator Lab

Tuesday
15.3  Coulomb’s Law
Workbook 15.2

Wednesday (Half day A 4th)
Unit 15 Group Test

Thursday (Half Day B)
No Class

Friday (Half Day A 5th)
Unit 15 Individual Test

Just as a reminder, students cannot make up labs if they are absent, but they can take detailed notes and complete the practice sets for full credit. I would love to hear any feedback or questions you or your student may have as we move forward in the year.  Feel free to contact me via email at any time.

Thank you again for sharing your wonderful student with us this year,
