This week in Biology Jan. 6-10

 In Biology

Dear Parents,

Everyone is excited to have a few weeks to relax and enjoy family and friends. I’m sure by the end of the next two weeks several of your students will be excited to return to school (even if they would never admit it).

Please remind them to begin their science fair experiments and their STEM designs over the break.  They should be prepared to write the final draft of their research paper when they return.  They will have time to finish their papers on Thursday or Friday when they return to school.  But if they have not worked on their project over the break they will not be prepared for this.  They will also have time to complete their boards in class and the STEM projects can be worked on in class then as well if needed.

Check out our science fair website for due dates, important links, and templates:

Student led conferences will be held Thursday and Friday when we return.  You can sign up here if you haven’t already:

Just as a reminder, students cannot make up labs if they are absent, but they can take detailed notes and complete the practice sets for full credit.

I would love to hear any feedback or questions you or your student may have as we move forward in the year.  Feel free to contact me via email at any time.

Thank you again for sharing your wonderful student with us this year,
