The Science Fair / STEM Fest is one week away!  The students have been working hard to get their projects ready.

We need volunteers!
We are in need of parent volunteers to help us judge the science fair, run the STEM Tables, and assist

Thursday is the last Fair / Festival work Day.  This is the last class day the students will have to work on their research papers, display boards, and their STEM projects.

2/1/20 – Science Fair / STEM Festival (Saturday)

2/5/20 – Final Report Due

6.25  Importance of Biodiversity
Biodiversity of the School Grounds

Tuesday
Finish Biodiversity of the school grounds

Wednesday
6.26  Mass Extinction
6.27  Resources
Research the mass extinction of humanity.  Is it more likely that humans would become extinct through a natural disaster, global warming,  or through the lack of natural resources? Make sure you provide references and include at least 3 quotes from  appropriate sources.

Thursday
Science Fair

Friday
6.28  Soil and Water
6.29  Air Pollution
6.30  Global Warming
Research industrial pollution.  Do a case study on a business which was fined or found guilty of polluting the environment.  Document the damage that was caused and the lasting impact the pollution will have on the environment.  Also document what can be done or what was done to clean up the problem.
200 words.  List sources.
