Dear Parents,

The Science Fair / STEM Fest was a blast.  So many of our students shined!  There is only one more assignment left:  the final paper.  Final reports can be turned in by February 5th in Infinite Campus.  Congratulations to all of our students who placed or who will be attending the State Science Fair!

Here is our class schedule for the next week:

Monday
Unit 6 Group Test

Tuesday
Unit 6 Individual Test

Wednesday
7.1  Prokaryotes
Illustrate 2 types of prokaryotes.  Make sure to detail their parts and explain the environment they thrive in.

Thursday
7.2  Bacteria Classification
7.3  Bacteria Structure
Illustrate the different types of bacteria.  Make sure to classify them and explain how they are different.

Friday
7.4  Bacteria Nutrition
7.5  Bacteria Habitat
Choose 2 very different species of bacteria.  Illustrate the perfect habitat for both types of bacteria and the sources of nutrition for each.

Just as a reminder, students cannot make up labs if they are absent, but they can take detailed notes and complete the practice sets for full credit.
