This Week in Biology (April 12-16)
Dear Parents and students,
We are finally moving into the unit on animals! That means that dissections will begin soon! This coming week we will study animal behavior and next week we will begin animal anatomy. We will have 3 dissections starting the week of the 19th! Let the fainting begin!

Notes and Practice: 10.2 Animal Classification
Project: 200 words. What makes animals different from plants? Are there examples of creatures that are difficult to classify into one of these categories? Why is this?
Thursday
10.4 Innate Behavior
10.5 Learned Behavior
Notes and Practice: 10.6 Social Behavior
Project: The debate over innate and learned behavior in animals is a complex topic. Research the controversies over this topic and write 150 words on your findings.
Friday
10.7 Cyclic Behavior
Notes and Practice: 10.8 Reproductive Behavior
