This Week in Biology (Feb 1-5)
Dear Parents and students,
Did you know that we are potentially entering the 6th great mass extinction according to scientists? From global warming to invasive species, the world is drastically changing and many species are going extinct. This will have a major impact on your student’s life. The past generation ignored this major change that was happening in our world. But many are taking notice now. I am confident that our students will have brilliant answers to the challenges facing this world over the next few decades.
Science Fair Update:
This Friday is the Stem Fest! Your student should brin in their STEM project so they can compete. Then on the 13th we will have the virtual Science Fair competition for those who move forward from the classroom presentations.
