This Week in Aviation (Oct 26-30)

Dear Parents and students,

We are back in the thick of it.  The students are now comfortable in class, but this is usually the time when they start to feel like slacking a bit on their academic work.  The aviation students have been doing well.  They just built a jet engine.  Well, not a real one, but it was still very exciting.  Recently there have been alternative assignments for our hom based students in place of the engineering projects.  It is encouraged for them to still do the engineering projects, but if they cannot get the supplies the alternate assignments are available.    Please make sure to encoureage them and pour praise on them for their hard work.  They are doing very well.

This past week a few students innocently brought nut-based snacks to school.  But because of severe allergies, I have been asked to remind everyone about the following:

  •  The following nuts are NOT allowed on campus:  Peanuts, Almonds, Cashews, Beechnuts, Brazil Nuts, Chestnuts, Hazelnuts (NO Nutella), Macadamia Nuts, Pecans, Pistachios, Shea Nuts, Walnuts.
