This Week in Physics (Sep 28-Oct 2)
Dear Parents and students,
Isn’t it crazy that Q1 is almost over? Time is flying! Or at least it appears to be. Did you know that Einstein’s relativity theory affects his view of gravity as well. Does this really come as a surprise? So is gravity a substance, a force, or something entirely different? As with all things in science, we are constantly learning. We may never know all the answers, but it is a fun adventure along the way!
Here is our class schedule for the week:
Gravity Essay day 3:
Contrast the two ideas about gravity we are studying. Do these two ideas about gravity (Newton’s and Einstein’s) complement each other or conflict? How do they complement each other or conflict? 180 words
Create a comic book explaining either Newton’s Universal Law of Gravity or Einstein’s theory of gravity to a child. Rubric: Creativity: 100 pts Accurate Explanation: 100 pts 3 pages minimum: 100 points Total: 300 points
