This Week in Physics (Aug 31 – Sep 4)

 In Physics

Dear Parents and students,

I am excited to see some of the students in person this coming week.  It has been manageable to work online but I much prefer to see the students in person.  Plus, let’s be honest, the students need more exercise.  Sitting on the couch or bed all day is not very constructive towards their long term health!   This class has really done well following procedures and turning in their work.  I am proud of their hard work.   I am enjoying seeing how productive they are cooperatively tackling the projects they are given.

I just created a donors choose campaign to purchase computers for class. If you would like to donate anything towards this, you may do so here: Computers for Class    If you donate by September 3 your donation will be doubled thanks to DonorsChoose. Just enter the code LIFTOFF on the payment page and you’ll be matched dollar for dollar (up to $50).

Also, please have your student look over the labs and see what they need each week for supplies so they are prepared beforehand.  This will save them a lot of work since they will be prepared to complete their labs during class time.

Here is our class schedule for the week:

3.4  Newton’s Third Law
Begin NEWTON PROJECT

NEWTON PROJECT Day 2

NEWTON PROJECT Day 3

PRESENT NEWTON PROJECT

Unit 3 GROUP TEST

Instructional videos for each day are found in your CK-12 reading.
All Practices must be completed with at least 80% mastery to be accepted.
All work is due Friday by 3:30PM
