This Week in AP BIO (Aug 31- Sep 4)

Dear Parents and students,

I am excited to see some of the students in person this coming week.  It has been manageable to work online but I much prefer to see the students in person.  Plus, let’s be honest, the students need more exercise.  Sitting on the couch or bed all day is not very constructive towards their long term health!   For AP Bio, the students have really embraced the rhythm of class.  They are working very hard to prepare to take their AP exam.  I am enjoying seeing how productive they are cooperatively tackling the difficult questions they are given.

3.1 Enzyme Structure
Read and take notes on Openstax: 6.4, 6.5
Collegeboard AP Classroom: Unit 3 Quiz 1 (80% or higher or ask for reset)
Prepare a 5-10 minute presentation on 6.3 & 7.1.  Be ready to present at any moment!

3.2 Enzyme Catalysis
Read and take notes on Openstax: 6.3, 7.1
Collegeboard AP Classroom: Unit 3 Quiz 2 (80% or higher or ask for reset)
Prepare a 5-10 minute presentation on 7.2 & 7.3.  Be ready to present at any moment!
