This Week in Aviation (Dec 7-11)
Dear Parents and students,
Our Library Exhibit Project is underway! The students have been working making their models and doing their research. This is the last week for them to produce their exhibit. I am very excited to see the final product. This project will showcase your students favorite aspect of aviation they have learned so far. Please keep in mind that the students are not supposed to spend a lot of money on this. They are supposed to make their project as cheaply as possible.
Here is our class schedule for the week:
Museum Exhibit Project (due Friday, Dec 11th)
Your final exhibit must Include:
1) A background of some sort
2) A hand-made model that applies to your topic
3) Your research and rationale
4) An engineer’s perspective of the topic including a materials list and composition of materials used, and applicable technical blueprints of aircraft or systems
5) pictures and illustrations
6) An experiment and conclusion that applies to the topic
7) A 5-10 minute presentation in front of the class (at least 7 powerpoint slides)
This project is worth 2200 points.
