This Week in Biology (Sep 14-18)
Dear Parents and students,
This week we had a lot of fun. It was great to see so many of the students in person. We have such wonderful students. This coming week we are going to create some memes to explain the Krebs Cycle. This is a yearly tradition and each year the students have a blast. I have heard there may be a surprise for the students coming this week as well. The anticipation is growing…
Here is our class schedule for the week:
Read: 2.26 Glycolysis
Notes and Practice: 2.27 Krebs Cycle
Glycolosis Krebs Memes Project
Create 2 memes: One that explains glycolysis and one that explains the Krebs Cycle. Humor is appreciated.
Notes and Practice: 2.28 Electron Transport
Electron Transport Project
Create a detailed diagram of the electron transport system in your lab notebook. Make sure to explain how it works. Neatness and accuracy will be graded.

Notes and Practice: 2.29 Fermentation
Respiration/Fermentation Lab After setting up your lab experiment, research glucose and sucrose. Which is more effective in producing energy? Make sure to do research and explain why this is.
Notes and Practice: 2.30 Anaerobic and Aerobic Respiration

Instructional videos for each day are found in your CK-12 reading.
