This Week in Physics (Aug 10-14)

Dear Parents and students,

It has been my pleasure to work with your students this past week.  I am very impressed with them.  This week we will finish our study of vectors and begin studying velocity.  Your student will may need a few supplies for the labs each week. Please ask them to look over the labs and see what they need each week. They should be readily available in your home for the most part. Please let me know if you need any assistance with this.

Here is our class schedule for the week:

Notes and Practice: 1.7  Graphical Methods of Vector Addition
Group Project: Vector Scavenger Hunt (attached)

Unit 1 Test

Notes and Practice: 2.1  Position and Displacement
Group Project:  Distance and displacement Lab (Attached)

Notes and Practice: 2.2  Average Velocity
Group Project:  Velocity Lab  (Attached)

Notes and Practice: 2.3  Instantaneous Velocity
Finish incomplete labs

Instructional videos for each day are found in your CK-12 reading.
All Practices must be completed with at least 80% mastery to be accepted.
All work is due Friday by 3:30PM
